Richmond, IN - The Oberlin College field hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision to the Wilson College Phoenix on Saturday afternoon in a neutral site match on the campus of Earlham College.
The Phoenix netted goals in each of the first three quarters and held Oberlin to just one shot in the contest.
Kate Seymour scored the first two goals for Wilson and capped off her hat trick performance by posting the game's final tally late in the third quarter.
Janny McCormick went the distance in goal, making seven saves to run her season total to 21 and career account to 155.
Oberlin surrendered 13 shots in the game with first-year
Mary Rodman taking the lone shot in the loss. OC also conceded eight corners and did not trigger one itself.
The Yeowomen are back in action on September 18 when they open conference play at Kenyon.
