Oberlin, OH - The Oberlin College field hockey team fell 8-0 at Ohio Wesleyan University on Sunday afternoon.
The Bishops netted goals in each quarter and held Oberlin without a shot.
OWU, which had a 16-0 advantage on penalty corners, had eight different goal-scorers in the game.
Janny McCormick made 10 saves before giving way to
Willow Maniscalco moments into the fourth quarter. The first-year from Darien, Connecticut, made her first-career save in just her second collegiate appearance. Fellow newcomer
Mary Rodman also notched a defensive save for the Yeowomen.
The Yeowomen return home to host Wooster on Saturday, October 19 at noon.
