OBERLIN, OH - Securing their third-sweep in under 24 hours, the Oberlin College volleyball team cruised to a three-set victory (25-20, 25-21, 25-22) over the Caltech Beavers to finish 3-0 in the Oberlin Invitaional. The Saturday win moves the Yeowomen to 7-1 on the season ahead of more home action next week.
Lauren Sands and Andréa Jones finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Crimson and Gold offense. Sands finished with a hitting percentage of .350, while Cami Sweet led the team with at .385. Oberlin scored 39 points off assists with Taylor Gwynne accounting for 36 of those tallies. Iris Archibald led them defensively, racking up 17 digs while Natalie Dufour made a pair of solo blocks.Â
