Oberlin, Ohio - The Oberlin College women's tennis team had no trouble with the visiting Blue Streaks of John Carroll, earning a 6-3 victory on Tuesday night at the John W. Heisman Field House. 

The Yeowomen surrendered just three total games in the two contested doubles battles as Marta Laska and Anna Pastore were 8-3 winners over Mia Zivkovic and Felicity Kolb in the top spot while Dina Nouaime and Lydia Zafeiri blanked Jaclyn Voss and Caroline Chandler 8-0 in the second flight.

While the top two singles battles were closely contested, Nouaime and Zafeiri were easy winners in the third and fourth positions as they prevailed by identical 6-1, 6-0 scorelines against Chandler and Voss, respectively.

Laska notched her third-straight victory and sixth in the last seven matches as she bested Zivkovic 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 1 position. 

Pastore followed with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) win over Kolb to finish off the match.

Oberlin moved to 6-6 on the year while JCU dropped back to 2-9. 

The Yeowomen are back in action on Friday afternoon as they play host to the College of Wooster at 4:30 p.m.
