OBERLIN, OH --The Oberlin College volleyball team lost to the visiting Wittenberg University Tigers 3-0 (14-25, 14-25, 24-26) on Saturday afternoon at Philips Gymnasium.

The loss dropped Oberlin's record to 10-4 overall and 1-2 in NCAC play, while the Tigers improved to 6-10 and 2-1 in league action.

SET 3 | Despite leading for the bulk of the set, Oberlin couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Yeowomen fell in a back-and-forth battle, losing 26-24 in a set that featured four lead changes and was tied seven times. Neither team had a lead of more than four points along the way. Oberlin led 24-22 and it appeared as if they were going to win the set when Andréa Jones slammed home a free ball but she whistled for a violation to even the count at 24-24 and the Tigers would secure the next two points to finish off the sweep.
