OBERLIN, OH- Seniors Nasim Amer and Antony Commissaris were honored before the Oberlin College men's soccer match on Saturday night. Hosting their conference foe Wittenberg, the Yeomen and Tigers finished in a tie at 2-2. Oberlin moves to 3-6-6 overall and 1-2-3 in NCAC action. The Crimson and Gold return to the pitch when they hit the road on Tuesday, October 24, to take on #23 Kenyon.

Oberlin came out of the gates ready to play, and at the 6:30 mark, Nathan Thompson crossed the ball to Nasim Amer to give the Crimson and Gold the 1-0 lead. Wittenberg responded with three consecutive shots on goal, but Colvin Iorio made the dives to save each.

After halftime adjustments, the Tigers evened the game on a goal from Christopher Meyer in the 64'.
Wittenberg then took a 2-1 lead just 20 seconds later as the Yeomen scrambled to find a counter. With just 2:45 left to play, the Yeomen fired back to knot it up at 2-2 with an 87' goal from Zach Moskowitz, his first goal of the season. Toby Wells-Zimmerman assisted the goal as the Yeomen and the Tigers settled for the 2-2 draw.
