Zack Butter and
Anthony Pacewicz were honored by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) for their work on the pitch and in the classroom this past season.
Butter, who was named to the Academic All-Ohio Second-Team, was a mainstay on the Yeomen rearguard throughout his career with 45 starts in 46 matches. A native of Short Hills, New Jersey, Butter is a Law & Society major and had the second highest grade point average of any second-team honoree. This season, he battled through injury to record 10 starts, while notching his first-career assist at Wittenberg on October 14.
Pacewicz, a sophomore from Perrysburg, Ohio, was named to the OCSA third-team following his impressive play this past season. An All-NCAC Second-Team selection and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree, Pacewicz was a key fixture in the center of the park for the Yeomen throughout the 2022 campaign. Starting all 15 matches, he produced seven points on three goals and an assist with two of his scores going as game winners.
Pacewicz has started all 33 games of his career and has posted eight points on three goals and two assists.
The Yeomen finished the season 5-7-3 and will begin preparations for the upcoming 2023 season this spring.
