The OC defense stood strong through the first quarter, keeping the Battling Bishops off the scoreboard while defending a pair of penalty corners. Their momentum slowed down in the second period as OWU connected on a trio of well-placed shots to go 3-0 up on the home team.

Ohio Wesleyan ramped up their offense in the second half, taking 13 shots and earning a game-high ten penalty corners in the third quarter. A Yeowomen offense led by
Elly Scheer and
Abbie Patchen held the Bishops to a scoreless quarter after a handful of defensive blocks and saves from McCormick. The defensive dominance continued into the final period as they Yeowomen were again faced with a hungry OWU offense. A loss but a huge improvement from the season opener, the Yeowomen and the Bishops settled for a final score of 3-0.
