Wooster, Ohio – The Oberlin College men's soccer team capped off the 2022 season with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday afternoon at the College of Wooster.
The Yeomen end the year at 5-7-3 overall and 1-4-3 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
It was a seesaw affair in terms of scoring, but the play on the pitch was certainly physical with seven yellows shown throughout contest with three coming against the Yeomen.

Anthony Pacewicz opened the scoring in the 15
th minute to stake the Yeomen to the early advantage, which they carried into the intermission.
The Scots would level the match in the 58
th minute on an Elliot Meyer goal before rookie
Louis Gandelheid got on the board in the 71
st minute with the help of an
Augie Smith service to put the Yeomen back out in front.
Unfortunately, the lead was short-lived for the Yeomen as less than three minutes later Kyle Stringer found the equalizer to cap the game's scoring.
It was even battle throughout the 90-minute clash as shots were tied at 17. OC finished with a slight 5-3 edge in corners.
Colvin Iorio made seven saves to finish his first full season as the netminder with 69 denials.
Oberlin will rest up for the winter before getting back on the pitch during the non-traditional spring season.
