Gambier, Ohio – The Oberlin College men's basketball team earned a 77-66 road win over the Kenyon College Lords on Saturday afternoon at Tomsich Arena to complete the season series sweep while snapping a three-game losing skid in the process.
Sophomore

The Yeomen grabbed a 7-0 lead right out of the gates, but the Lords settled in to tie the game at 10-10 before claiming a slight 19-17 advantage following a pair of Dylan Fuerst free throws at the 8:46 mark. However, back-to-back triple-hits from Radusinovic put the Yeomen back out in front by four and the Podgorica, Montenegro, native would cap off his 20-point half with two more long-range strikes down the stretch to help Oberlin carry a 39-31 lead into the intermission.
The Yeomen extend their cushion out to 51-41 just over five minutes into the second stanza but the Lords answered back a 9-1 run to trim the deficit down to 52-50 with 9:06 left to play. Oberlin would rebuttal with an 8-0 response run that featured a pair of 3-pointers from Moser to push the lead back out to double-digits.
Oberlin was clinging to a 64-59 advantage with just over four minutes to go but the Lords would net just two field goals in crunch time as the Yeomen were able to salt the game away by cashing in eight free throws over the final 66 seconds.
The Yeomen deposited 27 of their 52 shot attempts for a 51.9 percent success rate, which included an impressive 10-of-23 (43.5%) showing from distance. The Oberlin defense held the Lords to just 36. 1 percent (26-of-72) while winning the battle of the boards 40-34.
The victory ran the Yeomen's record to 5-7 overall and 3-4 in the NCAC. Kenyon dropped back to 2-10 and remains winless in conference play at 0-5.
