Albion, MI - The Oberlin College volleyball team opened a weekend road trip to Michigan, dropping a four-set affair at Albion College by the scores of 21-25, 16-25, 27-25, and 16-25. 

Andréa Jones led the attack with 14 kills while Natasha Radic chipped in with eight. Cami Sweet returned to the lineup tonight and was impressive as she hit .417 with six kills to accompany two block assists. 

Taylor Gwynnedelivered 37 assists and Iyanna Lewis dumped in five aces to aid the Oberlin effort. Along the backline, Moo DeHaro had 15 digs while Gwynne ended with 14. 

After a slow start in the first two sets, Oberlin found its rhythm in the third frame. Oberlin was trailing 19-17 but would go out in front with three straight points featuring kills from Gwynne and Radic. The Yeowomen were later down 23-21 but rallied to go past the traditional 25-point total with Jones ultimately hammering home the clincher. 

In the fourth set a finish from Sweet had Oberlin up 7-6 in the early going but the Britons responded with a 10-2 run and never looked back as they secured the match. 

The Yeowomen are back in action tomorrow afternoon as they take on Adrian College at 1 p.m.
