Granville, Ohio – The Oberlin College field hockey team dropped a non-conference contest at Denison 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Big Red scored two goals in the first 8:52 to jump out to an early 2-0 lead before adding another one in the second period to hold a 3-0 advantage at the half.
Out of the break, Denison would again strike quickly as they scored twice in the first half of the third period to push its lead to 5-0.
The Big Red added another in the fourth on their way to 6-0 victory.
Mary Post made 10 saves in net for Oberlin.
The Yeowomen will take to the turf at Dick Bailey Field for their home opener on Tuesday, September 24
th versus Allegheny at 6:00 p.m.
