Meadville, Pa. – The Oberlin College field hockey team were unable to sweep the season series as they were shutout by Allegheny on Wednesday night.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Gators got on the board in the second thanks to a Vivian Super unassisted goal in at the 21:03 mark to send her team to the half with the lead.
Allegheny doubled their advantage halfway through the third period before Zoey Dudek scored with less than a minute remaining in the frame to head to the fourth up 3-0.
The Gators outshot the Yeowomen 27-0 with 12 shots on goal as
Mary Post made eight saves in the net for Oberlin.
