Greencastle, Indiana – The Oberlin College field hockey team lost a tight game at DePauw University on Saturday by a 2-0 margin.

The Yeowomen had an early opportunity in the first 90 seconds as a Bonnie Wileman shot had to be saved by a Tiger's defenseman.

DePauw got on the board late in the opening period with a goal at the 13:49 mark to take a 1-0 lead that held until halftime.

The Tigers scored their second goal of the contest in the third period off a penalty corner to put Oberlin behind 2-0.

The Yeowomen tried to cut the deficit in half late in this one but a Meredith Warden attempt was saved by the Tigers goalkeeper with less than five minutes remaining in the match to protect the DePauw shutout and 2-0 victory.
