Granville, Ohio – Maggie Gossiaux added 23 saves to her nation-leading total, but the short-handed Yeowomen were unable to keep pace with Denison University as they fell 9-0 on Friday night.
The Big Red took a 3-0 lead into the intermission and added six more scores over the final 35 minutes to run their record to 6-3 overall and 6-1 in the NCAC. The Yeowomen fell to 1-7 overall and 1-6 in the league with the setback.
Gossiaux now has 161 saves on the season. In today's game,
Kendra Lian also recorded two defensive saves, while
Hannah Christiansen added one.
