Brian Ambrose enters his tenth season as an assistant coach for the Yeowomen in 2021.
Prior to Oberlin, Ambrose was an assistant coach at Washington and Lee University. He helped the Generals achieve an impressive 27-8 record which included a 9-1 mark in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. During his time in Virginia, he also served as the head coach for the Rockbridge Volleyball under-16 and under-18 teams.
Ambrose played collegiately for two years at Juniata College before transferring to Rider University. He also works with various club teams throughout the greater Cleveland area.
In addition to on-court coaching, Ambrose assists in all aspects of the program including recruiting, scouting and video analysis. He also works as in the athletic department as the Creative Director of Multimedia Services.
