Chris Bronander is in his first season as assistant coach and defensive coordinator for the Oberlin College men’s lacrosse team.
Prior to his arrival in Oberlin, Bronander spent two years as a graduate assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut. He aided in all facets of the Falcons’ program from recruiting, weight training, practice preparation, equipment management, and social media.
Bronander has additional coaching experience at the Bridgton Academy (ME) where he played a vital role in assisting players with the collegiate recruitment process. He also has extensive experience in the club circuit, having worked for Milton Academy (MA), 3d New England (MA), and SnowMagic, Inc. (PA).
A former member of the Dean’s List at Curry College (MA), Bronander was a four-year starter for the Colonels who corralled 191 ground balls and caused 113 turnovers over 66 games played. The Glen Ridge, New Jersey, native added three goals and five assists in his career. The 2018 Team MVP, he was also selected to play in the NEILA All-Star Game that season.
After graduating with Curry with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Bronander later earned a master’s degree in management & organizational leadership from Albertus Magnus College.
