Cory Emerine

Cory Emerine enters his fourth season as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Oberlin College in the 2026-27 season after joining the Crimson and Gold in Fall 2023.

During his time with the Yeomen, Emerine has helped the program achieve the winningest three-year stretch in program history. He has played an instrumental role in Oberlin’s recruiting efforts while assisting with practices and leading the program’s social media efforts.
 
Prior to joining Oberlin, Emerine spent more than a decade coaching high school basketball in the Greater Cleveland area. He served as the varsity head boys basketball coach at Brookside High School from 2018-21. Before taking over the Brookside program, he coached at the junior varsity level from 2011-18 at Elyria High School and Holy Name High School.
 
Emerine began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Notre Dame College, where he was also a standout player during his collegiate career.
