Joseph Cieszynski enters his first year at Oberlin, after being hired in 2024.
Cieszynski brings over 30 years of experience in sports medicine to the Crimson and Gold across professional, clinical, Division I, high school, and youth levels. Cieszynski has worked extensively with athletes competing in Cycling, Nordic skiing, and Biathlon, in addition to being a certified strength and conditioning coach and sport coach.
Cieszynski has several certifications including his ATC from the National Athletic Trainers Association, LAT from the State of Ohio OT/PT/AT Licensing Board, CSCS from National Strength and Conditioning Association, and USAW Sports Performance Coach certification from United States Weightlifting Association.
He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science/Athletic Training from the University of Toledo, and has complete Graduate Studies from Eastern Illinois University in Exercise Science and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
