JoAnna Simon, a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama arrived at Oberlin in January of 2021.
Before arriving at Oberlin, she was a graduate assistant at Alcorn State University where her primary responsibilities were women’s basketball and volleyball and she also assisted with football and track & field.
JoAnna’s primary sport responsibilities with Oberlin are baseball, men’s basketball, football, and women’s tennis.
She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Troy University in 2019 and is currently pursuing her master’s of education in athletic administration and teaching from Alcorn State University.
