Nik Embernate was named the offensive line coach in April of 2019.
Embernate spent the 2018 season as the offensive quality control coach and offensive line intern at the University of San Diego. Prior to coming to Oberlin, he also had a short stint as interim tight ends coach.

While with the Toreros, he was heavily involved in game preparation, supplying pass-rush move breakdowns and game plan scouting reports to the offensive line.

Embernate played collegiately at San Diego State University and spent time playing professionally for the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL), Toronto Argonauts (CFL), and LA Kiss (AFL).
