Cade O'Connell joined the Yeomen coaching staff in the summer of 2022 and is in his third season on staff.

Before coming to Oberlin, he spent two seasons as a manager for the University of North Carolina football team.  There he assisted the offensive line coach during practices and games.  O'Connell also spent time volunteering with the football recruiting department, where he cut up prospect film and made evaluation tapes for the coaches.
 
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, O'Connell graduated from UNC with degrees in statistics & analytics and sports administration.
