Alex Hanna

Alex Hanna was added to the Yeomen football staff in May of 2020 and she will coach the Yeomen's cornerbacks and also serve as the director of football operations.
 
Hanna joins a very small list of women who hold coaching roles within NCAA football. Most recently she interned with the Cleveland Browns in their community relations and youth football department. She assisted in executing over 20 youth football camps and clinics, while educating and coaching over 600 athletes.
 
Prior to her tenure with the Browns, Hanna coached the defensive line for one season at nearby Mentor High School, helping the Cardinals earn an OHSAA playoff appearance and top-25 national ranking.  
 
From 2016-2018, Hanna assisted with football operations and coaching the defensive line and safeties at the University of Delaware. During her two seasons with the Blue Hens, she helped in recruiting two of the top classes in the Colonial Athletic Association. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management from the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.
 
Before transferring to Delaware, Hanna attended Florida Atlantic University, where she provided support within football operations while assisting with wide receivers. She also aided in the procurement of the top-ranked recruiting class in Conference USA.
