Allyson Osborne enters her first season as assistant field hockey coach at Oberlin.
Osborne arrived at Oberlin after an exceptional playing career at Hartwick College where she was the Empire 8 Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021 in addition to earning first-team all-conference honors.
A four-time member of the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, Osborne posted 15 career shutouts and racked up 297 saves over 59 career matches. Graduating with a career save percentage of .784, Osborne registered an .833 save percentage as a junior which ranked eighth in the nation.
Hartwick’s M. Beal Banks Award winner for the pursuit of excellence, enthusiastic dedication and commitment, Osborne was also named Team MVP and was an Empire 8 All-Tournament Team selection in her final season.
In over 3,800 minutes of action, she had a career goals against average of just 1.29 while posting a record of 37-21.
Osborne, who will work with Oberlin’s goalies and defense, graduated from Hartwick in 2021 with a degree in chemistry.
