
YeoFit Punch Card Program
September 3rd -October 18th
- Pick up your YeoFit punch card at the front desk in Shanks. Take 10 YeoFit classes between September 3rd and October 18th to earn a YeoFit hat or headband!
- You must get your punch card stamped by your YeoFit instructor after each class. Don't forget to bring your card to class and get it stamped!
- Once you have taken 10 YeoFit classes, drop off your card at the Shanks front desk to pick up your YeoFit swag!
- Is 10 classes not a challenge for you? Once you complete 10 classes, pick up your bonus punch card at the desk and go for 20! If you complete 20 classes, you will earn a YeoFit long-sleeve shirt!
YeoFit Class Descriptions
AquaFit
Are YOU ready to be challenged? This 45min High Intensity, Low Impact class will increase cardiovascular endurance, strength, coordination, agility, and muscle toning. One will be challenged with aerobic, strength, and traditional lap swimming techniques using equipment to PUSH YOU to the next level... Goggles required.
Barre
Combining principles of yoga, pilates, and ballet, barre uses focused, isometric movements to target key muscle areas. 50-min class provides a full-body workout, focusing on strength training in abs, arms, and lower body. No shoes required. All fitness levels are welcome!
Body Positive Pilates Interval Training
A combination of high-intensity interval training and mat Pilates, this 60-minute class offers a fast-paced, varied, and dynamic work out that is truly all levels. The class also promises to provide a body positive environment that is free from toxic fitness goals, fatphobia, dieting, and beauty standards. Emphasizing self-acceptance, self-love, and listening to your body, you are welcome to show up just as you are. Come explore what it feels like to move your body!
BOSU (BOth Sides Up)
Are you interested in challenging your strength in a different way?? If so, this 45 minute class will bring a variety of creative ways, such as BOSU, Pilates, Bootcamp,Tabata, EMOM and so much more. This class is designed to increase cardio, core and total body strength with the use of the BOSU training tool. Throughout the class you are guaranteed to improve BALANCE and STRENGTH.
Boxing
A high energy class that incorporates boxing moves such as jabs, punches, and rolls to increase your cardiovascular fitness, improve your strength and burn your core. Boxing gloves and stand up bags will be used and basic punches, including the jab, cross, hook, and uppercut will be taught. All fitness levels welcome.
Core N More
Get ready to burn and firm your thighs, hips, and booties all while working your core. This FUN 45 minute toning workout will incorporate small bursts of cardio as well as amazing variety that is easy to follow. This class is geared for all fitness levels.
Get Jacked
Lift weights = Get jacked. Maddy and CT, strength coaches from T3 Performance, will lead a 60 min group training session, based around building lean muscle and maximizing your strength potential. It will be a fun environment for you to push your limits, and challenge yourself both physically and mentally. Come get jacked, and start living your best life.
Jump rope
Are you ready to be challenged?
Don't let this idea scare you or make you laugh - whether a beginner or varsity athlete - you belong here. From gym class to professional, jumping rope is an excellent and fun form of exercise and conditioning. Here are a few highlights;
- Burns 10-16 calories a minute = 10 minutes of jump rope is about equivalent to running an 8-minute mile.
- Build Agility, Quickness & Bone Density = Strengthens muscles surrounding the ankle joint and creates neural muscular adjustments to keep you balanced which together improves overall balance, quickness and coordination.
- Up & Down Body Weight Movement = Increases and improves appetite regulating hormones. It's true - google it!
- Combined Physical & Mental Demand = Higher impact on cognitive functioning and also actually helps you remain calm.
- Jump ropes will be provided or bring your own. Beginners can faux jump rope
TRX
A class centered around Total Body Resistance Exercise (TRX) straps and exercises that are designed to tone and strengthen the whole body. In addition to TRX exercises, instructors may incorporate medicine balls, dumbballs, mini-bands, and kettebells throughout the workout. All exercises can be modified for any fitness levels. All are welcome!
Spin Fusion
Find your strongest self in Spin Fusion, a spinning and body sculpting workout that combines a 30 minute endurance ride with 15 minutes of high intensity floor exercise. Pedal and sculpt your way through a bold workout that will leave you feeling EMPOWERED!
Spinning
Spinning is an indoor group cycling workout that will take you on a visual bike ride, complete with motivating music and different themes to keep you entertained and inspired. If you are looking to burn calories, check out a Spinning class where you can burn up to 600 calories in a 45-minute ride!
Sunrise Yoga
Rise and Shine! Awaken your senses and begin the day with an invigorating and energizing 45-60 minute class. A flowing series of gentle postures designed to physically and mentally awaken the mind-body connection. This class will give you a powerful start to your day!
Yoga
This ancient practice helps create a sense of union in the body, mind and spirit. This class will include asana (postures and movement) and breath work. Each class will be unique depending on the instructor's training and influences. All fitness levels and experiences welcome!
Zumba
Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance workout that alternates between high and low intensity dance moves designed to increase your heart rate and boost cardio endurance. This high-energy class is set to upbeat music and features a choreographed dance to the beats of salsa, flamenco, and merengue. Zumba is an open, fun and friendly environment that feels more like a dance party than a workout! Though most Zumba includes high-impact moves like bouncing and jumping, it can be modified to accommodate your needs and is open to all fitness levels. Most importantly, the class emphasizes moving to the music and having a good time; no rhythm required!
