Westlake, Ohio – The Oberlin College baseball team landed a pair of All-Conference honors, as announced by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Thursday afternoon.

"We're very proud to have Kyle and Brady recognized by the NCAC." Head Coach Johnathan Ray said, "Throughout the season, our offense was at its best when they were contributing. They were 2 of our offensive leaders all season, and played a big role in driving our success as a team."

First baseman Kyle Baxt was named to the All-Conference Second-Team, while outfielder Brady Groves earned a nod on the All-Conference Third-Team. For the duo, these are the second All-NCAC honors of their careers.

Baxt, a junior from the Sunshine State, co-led the team with a .342 batting average, collecting 51 hits, 28 runs, and 42 RBIs this season. With six home runs this year, the junior tied the all-time home run record of 17 and is more than poised to break it in 2027. Baxt moved into fifth all-time in hits after surpassing the 154-mark against Hiram earlier this year. The junior currently has 167 hits in his career and needs 38 to tie the program record of 205.

Groves, a North Carolina native, co-led the team with a .342 batting average and accumulated 51 hits, 30 runs, and 33 RBIs. The right fielder was second on the team in stolen bases with seven, and finishes his career ranked seventh all-time in hits (152).

While Baxt returns for his senior campaign, Groves finished his 3-2 Engineering program this year and has committed to Columbia University, where he will continue his degree and play for the NCAA Division I Lions.
