Asha Locke appeared between the pipes for all 90 minutes of regulation, making one save.
Wittenberg got an early start, scoring 1:46 into the contest. With a majority of the possession controlled by the Tigers, the Oberlin backline pushed to hold off four shots from Wittenberg.

Sawyer Ramberg nailed a shot from the edge of the penalty box, soaring over the crossbar.
Shifting gears after the halftime break,
Emma Boyles cut the margin with a goal from 20 yards out. The Tigers responded just minutes later with a goal to the bottom right of the net. Following a corner kick from Oberlin,
Kylie Tinnirella gained control of the ball to find the back of the net, as her shot was blocked by the Wittenberg backline. Ready to tack on a second goal for Oberlin, Boyles launched a shot from 22 yards to the center but was stopped by the Tiger goalkeeper. Bringing the ball to their attacking end, Wittenberg aimed to score off a corner. Sending the ball to the center, Locke held them off.
Unable to find another opportunity in the net, the Crimson and Gold fell 3-1. Oberlin concludes their campaign at 3-10-2 overall, going 0-6-1 in conference play. Highlighting their season with the most goals scored in a game in nine years after sweeping Carlow 8-0,
Averi Williams led Oberlin attack with three goals, four assists, and 10 points.
"Though our season comes to an end, I am incredibly proud of the resilience this team has displayed throughout the season," Head Coach
Taylor Houck adds. "We had some amazing highlights, and I'm excited to continue to build on this foundation and develop as a program."
Following a well-deserved break, the Crimson and Gold now turn their focus to the spring offseason, where they'll welcome back all but their two graduating seniors.
