Oberlin, Ohio - Associate Vice President for Athletics Advancement and Delta Lodge Director of Athletics & Physical Education Natalie Winkelfoos announced the appointment of Malory Nadrah as head women's lacrosse coach.

Nadrah comes to Oberlin after a successful six-year head coach tenure at Marietta College where she started the program before the 2018-19 season. During her time with the Pioneers, Nadrah mentored 11 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) selections and led the Pios to the OAC Tournament two times.

"First and foremost, I want to express our gratitude to Erin Mitchell for her serving as our interim head coach this season," Winkelfoos said. "Her care for our team has been critical. She has helped lay a strong foundation for our program's future.  As we look to the next chapter of our women's lacrosse journey, we are excited to introduce Malory Nadrah as our new head coach. Her energy and understanding of the game will undoubtedly resonate with our student-athletes. Malory's experience and vision make her well-suited to elevate our program."

In her first five seasons with the program, Nadrah improved upon the team's win total from the previous year and has produced 39 victories in her career, which included a 10-win mark in 2023 and five wins during the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign.

"I am so excited to be bringing my family to Oberlin" Nadrah said. "I want to thank Natalie Winkelfoos, Creg Jantz, and the entire search committee for this amazing opportunity. This program has a solid foundation and so much growth potential. I am eager to build on what has been established and ready to work hard towards a bright future for Oberlin women's lacrosse."

No stranger to Northeast Ohio, Nadrah's collegiate coaching career began as a graduate assistant coach at nearby Lake Erie College. She served as the team's defensive coordinator, working closely with the team's goalies while coordinating the strength and conditioning program.

In her two seasons with the Storm, Nadrah helped develop three all-conference players, including two first-team honorees. Her defense ranked first in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in goals allowed in 2017 and second in 2016. In her final season with the program, she helped lead the Storm to a 10-5 record and semifinal appearance in the GLIAC Tournament.

She has additional coaching experience with the Hero's Tournament Lacrosse Club in Maryland. She previously served as the head coach of the Ohio Premier Club team in Cleveland and was the head coach for Athena Lacrosse in Akron.

A four-time All-Capital Athletic Conference selection and 2011 Rookie of the Year, Nadrah had an impressive playing career at Frostburg State University. A three-year team captain and two-time MVP for the Bobcats, she capped her career with first-team IWLCA All-Region honors and still holds the school's career record for draw controls with 242.

A two-way standout, Nadrah ranks fourth all-time in goals (172), third in caused turnovers (108), and eighth in points (203).

Nadrah graduated Cum Laude from Frostburg State with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2015 and earned a master's of education degree from Lake Erie in 2017. She will officially start her duties at Oberlin July 29.
