Katherine Csiszar to kickstart the Yeowomen's offense. Csiszar struck against from the paint in the ensuing possession, followed by a layup from
Krystal Montas after the sophomore stole the ball from Wooster's Mackenzie Riccitelli. At the buzzer, Gabby Peña-Hilzen brought the Yeowomen within one off a tip-in layup.
The excitment continued into the second quarter with consecutive buckets from the Crimson and Gold. Now with the lead, the Yeowomen went toe-to-toe with Wooster to maintain their advantage. A trey from
Ellie Pollock-Ballard at the 4:09 mark pushed Oberlin's lead to 24-19. The Scots responded with a pair of triples, but free throws from Csiszar and Pollock-Ballard closed out the half and tied the conference foes at 28-28.
After a three-pointer by the home team to start the third quarter, it was all Oberlin as they put together a 15-0 run. Highlighted by back-to-back three-pointers from Najmulski, the Yeowomen sat on an 11 point lead headed into the final period of play.
A block from Kumler forced a Wooster turnover to start the fourth quarter. The Yeowomen took full advantage of the home team's miscue, led by Csiszar with a layup in the paint to grab Oberlin's largest lead of the night at 14. The Fighting Scots stormed back to bring the game within five, but they never got closer as Oberlin regained their momentum to close out the game and clinch victory on an 11-4 run.
