Oberlin, Ohio – Hosting the Hiram Terriers for a Tuesday night matchup, the Oberlin College volleyball team dropped to the visitors 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-21). The Yeowomen sink to 4-16 overall and 1-5 in conference play.
Natalie Dufour finished with ten kills on the day to lead the Yeowomen offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .250. Defensively, Oberlin saw three players reach double figures in digs, including Julia Hall with 13, Zeynep Kaya with 11, and ten more from Jillian Jendsen.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Crimson and Gold found themselves in an early hole, losing a tough first set 25-16. Oberlin trailed by as many as 11 points as Hiram never surrendered the lead in a set that was knotted up just once before the Terriers took control.
SET 2 | Oberlin then dropped the second set 25-22 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Yeowomen couldn't hang on in a back-and-forth set, losing in a stanza that featured eight lead changes and was tied 12 times. Neither team led by more than three points at any time.
SET 3 | Hiram finished the sweep as Oberlin came up short by the score of 25-21. Hiram grabbed the advantage for good at 21-20 in a set that was tied up five times.
Oberlin stays at home for their next match, hosting Wooster on Saturday, November 2. The Crimson and Gold will celebrate their three seniors prior to the 1 p.m. start.
