Box Score Kalamazoo, Mich.- Hitting the road to take on Kalamazoo in Michigan, the Oberlin College men's tennis team fell to the regionally-ranked Hornets, 6-3 on Saturday morning. The Yeomen move to 0-2 on the season.
 
James Dill and Grant North got the doubles action going in the No. 1 spot, but after a competitive match, the duo fell 8-5 to K'Zoo. Sean Billerbeck and Rohan Gold took on the No. 2 slot where they also fell in 8-2 fashion. In third doubles, Shawn Lisann and Sebastien Naginski notched the Yeomen's first victory as they took down Louis Landreau and Tieran Rafferty 8-6.
 
Down 2-1 headed into the singles matches, the Crimson and Gold continued to struggle as both Billerbeck (4-6, 6-4, 0-6) and Gold (5-7, 2-6) fell in their No. 1 and No. 2 matches, respectively. Naginski dropped the No. 3 match 4-6, 2-6 before Lisann came through with another win in the No. 4 spot. The first-year took down Casey Johnson 7-6, 7-6 to give Oberlin their second point of the match. Sam Topper fell 1-6, 0-6 before Dill (6-4, 3-6, 10-7) capped off the match on a high note with a tie-breaker victory over his Hornet counterpart.
 
The Yeomen return to the courts next weekend, Saturday, February 18 as they host Hope in the Heisman Fieldhouse at 2pm.
