CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN -- The Oberlin College men's soccer team concluded the 2023 season, falling 5-0 at Wabash College on Saturday afternoon.
The loss dropped Oberlin's record to 3-8-6 overall and 1-4-3 in NCAC play, while Wabash wrapped up its season at 6-7-4 and 2-5-1 in league play.
How it Happened
Jose Escalante recorded a hat trick within the first 16 minutes of the match and the Little Giants never looked back. Myles Bernat and Alfredo Campos also found the back of the net in the second half.
Colvin Iorio made Oberlin with four saves to run his season account to 82.
The Yeomen totaled 10 shots in the loss, two of them on goal. Oberlin faced 15 Wabash shots, nine of them on goal.
