GRANVILLE, OH- The Oberlin College cross country team got their postseason started with the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Denison, on Saturday mid-morning. The Yeomen tallied 81 points to earn second overall. On the women's side, the Crimson and Gold gathered 99 points to finish in fourth.
Looking to defend their title, the men ran toe-to-toe with the conference competition in the 8k. Both
Walter Moak (26:21.2) and
Jonah Barber (26:18.7) finished in the top seven, earning First-Team All-Conference honors.
Johnny Ragsdale followed in 19th place with a time of 26:42.5 to earn Third-Team All-Conference.
Danny Markey (26:54.3),
Aidan Duffield (27:08.2),
Charlie Endres (27:15.2), and (27:21.4) rounded out the top 50 for the Yeomen.

In the women's 6k race, the Crimson and Gold placed three harriers on the All-Conference list, led by
Sage Reddish (23:13.4), who joins the Second Team.
Eliza Medearis (23:20.5) finished in 15th place, just ahead of
Camila Ciembroniewicz (23:45.0) in 17
th. The pair tack on Third Team honors to their resume.
Margo Lee brought in the top 25 for Oberlin with a time of 24:00.6.
Amber Borofsky (24:59.6),
Sophie Mateja (25:10.4), and
Caleigh Lyons (25:42.5) finished out the first 50 as the Yeowomen completed their conference run.

Wabash took the men's crown with 62 points, while Wittenberg took the women's title after amassing 36 points.
