Oberlin, Ohio- The Oberlin College women's soccer team played host to Chatham on Saturday afternoon where they fell in a bitter 5-2 match. The Yeowomen move to an even 2-2-0 on the season before hitting the road for another non-conference matchup.

Sofia Mitchell and
Zoe Garver earned the only Crimson and Gold goals of the match while Benji and
Ali Grant split time in cage.

Chatham came out of the gates hot, scoring their first tally just over five minutes into the game. A fumble out front of the Cougars' cage led to Mitchell's goal, tying the score at one apiece. Oberlin struggled to maintain possession over the remainder of the half while Chatham put up another three goals.

Down a trio coming into the back half of the game, Oberlin's woes continued as they were unable garner much offensive momentum. The sole highlight of the second half came in the 81' off a pass from
Heather Benway to Garver to cut into the Cougars' lead. The visitors tacked on an insurance goal in the waning minutes of the match to claim the 5-2 victory.
