Wooster, OH- Capping off a historic regular season, the Oberlin men's lacrosse team took down Wooster 16-12 on the road. The Yeomen battled their way to a road-win as the team moves to 12-4 on the season and 6-3 in the conference. The regular season record marks the most wins in program history and the first time the team has gone above .500 in conference play.

The defensive duo of JT Starcke and Kiernan Stone combined for four points in the win while Starcke brought in a career-high 11 ground balls and four caused turnovers. Eugene Kang locked it down in cage, making 13 stops and tallying a ground ball in the process. Behind a four-goal performance, the senior Tom Decker also tallied another pair of assists while Niko Maheras and Ryan Blasberg earned hat tricks of their own.

The Oberlin offense got off to slow start but caught fire after a goal from Decker at the 7:50 mark. The Yeomen combined for another two goals before Stone took a sent a long shot into the back of the net at the buzzer. Up 4-2 headed into the second quarter of action, the two NCAC foes swapped goals until Starcke sprinted through a clear and connected with the Wooster cage. The attack continued with a man-up goal from Max Cha before Wooster finally responded with a goal of their own. The LSMs continued to be an offensive threat as Stone found Blasberg for the final goal of the half.

Keeping status quo, Starcke added to his goal total after Connor Quinn won a faceoff to find the junior LSM upfield.  The Fighting Scots put up a pair of goals to come within two of the Yeomen lead, but Sam Ryu and Decker worked together to bring their lead back to four. The Yeomen maintained their lead through the final quarter of action and even scored a pair of insurance goals, both assisted by Michael Muldoon.
