Westerville, OH- Trailing nearly the entire game, the Yeomen battled until the final minute to earn the 7-5 victory against Otterbein on Wednesday night. The low-scoring matchup marks the Yeomen's third-consecutive win, the longest win streak for the team since early 2018. The gritty victory moves Oberlin to 4-1 on the season.

Michael Muldoon lea the way for the Crimson and Gold offense with a pair of goals and a pair of assists.
Max Cha also tallied a pair of goals with another trio of players also finding the back of the net. A strong game on the faceoff,

For the majority of the second quarter, the Oberlin defense locked in, causing a turnover and scooping a pair of ground balls early to keep within one of the lead. The Yeomen successfully defended a man-down situation, but just as Oberlin looked to regroup at even strength, Otterbein found net and extended their lead to two.
Â
As the third quarter got underway, Muldoon and
Ryan Blasberg connected for the only Crimson and Gold score of the quarter. Down 5-3 in the final quarter, Oberlin rallied for four goals and shut out the Otterbein offense to earn a late-night victory. The winning goal came from Cha off a pass from Muldoon during a man-up opportunity. At the :35 mark,
