Yeomen Tennis Dominate Raiders

Oberlin, OH- The Oberlin men's tennis team hosted the Mount Union Raiders on Sunday afternoon. The dominate 9-0 win puts the Yeomen at 2-7 on the season in dual matches.

In doubles action, James Dill and Grant North took on the No. 1 spot, taking down their opponent in 8-1 fashion. Both duos of Sebastien Naginski and Ben Echikson and Nathan Silverstein and Nathan Englehart defeated their Raiders counterparts by 8-0 and 8-3, respectively.

Taking on the singles completion, with Dill in the No. 1 spot, Oberlin moved to 2-0 after his 6-4, 6-4 win. The domination continued as Rohan Gold, Sam Topper, Naginski, and Echikson all swept the Raiders in 6-0, 6-0 sets. Englehart closed out the competition with a 6-0, 6-2 victory to secure the sweep for Oberlin.

The Yeomen take the courts again next Friday, March 18 as they host John Carroll for a 6pm match.
