Oberlin, Ohio – The Oberlin College field hockey team capped off its 2022 season, falling 1-0 to the visiting College of Wooster Scots on Saturday afternoon.
Prior to the match the team honored its four senior members;
Jackie Oh, Post,
Vanessa Baker, and
Meredith Warden.
The Yeowomen struggled to generate much offensive movement, failing to attempt a single shot in the contest.
After a scoreless opening quarter, the Scots would cash in the game's only goal in the 22nd minute as Mary Johnson redirected an attempt from Olivia Nengel and Wooster would make it stand up the rest of the way.
Post went the distance between the pipes, making six saves to give them an even 100 on the year.
The Scots put seven of their 12 shots on goal and earned nine penalty corners compared to Oberlin's two.
Oberlin finishes the season with a record of 4-12 and 1-7 in the NCAC.
