Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Yeomen Fall at Wittenberg

Springfield, Ohio - The Oberlin College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision at Wittenberg University on Friday night.

The loss all but sealed the fate of Oberlin's postseason hopes as they fell back to 0-4-1 in the NCAC with just three games left on the ledger.

The Yeomen struck first in the 29th minute as Toby Wells-Zimmerman notched his fifth goal of the year in the 29th minute with the help of a long lead pass from Zack Butter

The Tigers leveled the affair in the 38th minute as Kyler Hagstrom pushed one by Colvin Iorio after getting set up by Kees Ciric.

The lone goal of the second-half goal came courtesy of Nick Harding in the 52nd minute and the Tigers would make it stand up the rest of the way.

Oberlin finished with a 9-7 edge in corners but the Tigers ended with 18-11 shot advantage.

Iorio went the distance in the cage and made four saves.

The Yeomen return home to host Hiram College on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
