Oberlin, Ohio – The Oberlin College volleyball team dropped a straight-set affair to the visiting Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops, falling 25-22, 25-18, and 25-18.
The Yeowomen struggled to find consistency throughout the match as the Bishops dropped in 11 aces and held Oberlin to just .095 hitting percentage.
Cami Sweet led the Oberlin offense with six kills while
Andréa Jones added five finishes in the loss.
Lucy Myers dished out 17 assists for the Yeowomen.
OWU had four different players with five or more kills led by Natalie Buravlov with seven.
The loss dropped Oberlin back to 7-7 overall and 0-2 in the NCAC while the Bishops improved to 7-9 and 2-0 in league play.
The Yeowomen are back in action on Wednesday night against Case Western Reserve University.
