Oberlin, Ohio – The Oberlin College Department of Athletics is excited to announce its new partnership with BlueFrame Technology to launch the Oberlin Sports Network.
The
Oberlin Sports Network will allow all fans to watch home athletics events in full 1080p clarity for the first time starting with the football team's home opener on September 4 against Kalamazoo College.
Other additional improvements include the ability for fans to live rewind and pause the stream. Furthermore, BlueFame offers multiple bitrate encoding which will provide end-users the highest quality picture available to them based on their internet connection speed while reducing lag or buffering.
Not only will broadcasts be available online but fans will also have the ability to watch Oberlin athletic events on their television through Over-the-Top (OTT) applications. The sports network is available on television streaming devices by searching for "Oberlin College Sports Network" or "Oberlin College Athletics Network" and can be found on the following platforms –
Amazon Fire,
Apple TV and
Roku.
