Â
The Yeowomen stayed point-for-point with the Battling Bishops went on a 7-2 run to create space from Oberlin. Although the rest of the set remained back-and-forth, the Yeowomen were unable to string a run of points together to even the score with OWU. Moving onto the second set after a 25-20 defeat in set one, Oberlin found themselves down early once again. A trio of kills from both
Natasha Radic and
Iyanna Lewis gave the squad enough juice to escape the second set with a 26-24 victory.
Â
Oberlin looked to continue that momentum into the third set as Andréa Jones got an early pair of kills.
Cami Sweet and Radic combined for sic more kills in the third set but it was not enough as the Battling Bishops took a 25-20 win to move to 2-1 in the match. The Yeowomen's woes continued into the fourth set as the team quickly went down by ten points. OWU capitalized off several Oberlin errors and took the final set by a score of 25-16, winning the match 3-1.
