Oberlin, Ohio – The Oberlin College men's soccer team scored three unanswered goals to defeat Baldwin Wallace University 4-2 on Shults Field.
The Yeomen struck first as they took advantage of one of its four first-half corner kicks.
Brian James set up the opening goal he as fired a strike into the box that

Timothy Williams. He would proceed to send in his NCAC-leading ninth goal of the season in the 34
th minute.
The Yellow Jackets answered the Yeomen goal with two scores in the final 10 minutes of the half to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission, despite Oberlin outshooting Baldwin Wallace 9-8.
The Oberlin offense started off slow in the first five minutes of the second half, but got going and tied the game at 2-2 in the 53

nd minute, Oberlin scored the game-winner when sophomore
Jiadi Cheng cut through the defense for his first tally of the year. His initial attempt was turned away, but he stuck with the rebound and ultimately sent the ball into the back of the net.
The Yeomen tacked on an insurance goal in the 83
rd minute as seniors
Matthew Bach-Lombardo and Williams assisted
Trenton Bulucea on the game's final score. He fired a shot that beat the Yellow Jackets goalkeeper for his third goal of the season.
In addition, senior goalkeeper
Connor English had a strong day for Oberlin as he faced 15 shots and tallied five saves, which is two stops shy of his season-high.
