Series Information …
The Terriers have won the last three meetings in a row to take a 30-29 lead in the all-time series … Prior to the string of victories by Hiram, Oberlin had won five in row between 2009-13 … Since the year 2000, the Yeomen have fell six times to Terriers (2000, 2001, 2008, 2014, 2015, 2016) … The history between the two schools dates back to 1895 when Oberlin shutout the Terriers 52-0.

Last Year Against the Terriers …
In last year's season finale, the Yeomen jumped out to an early 7-0 lead against the Terriers, but Hiram took control the rest of the way en route to a 36-14 win … In the final game of his illustrious four-year career, wide receiver Justin Cruz caught 11 passes for 103 yards, but he was the lone bright spot of an Oberlin offense that mustered just 218 total yards in the game.

Last Time Out for the Yeomen …
Oberlin rallied from 21 points down in the third quarter to get within one score late in the game, but its final drive ended with an interception as the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops held on for a 34-26 win in the final road game of the season for the Yeomen … Junior wide out Ryan Gleeson matched a career-high with 11 catches and set a new career-best with 142 yards in the setback.

Scouting the Terriers …
The Terriers invade the Austin E. Knowlton Athletics Complex boasting one of the conference's top attacks as they rank third in the league in total offense (444.4 ypg) and are fourth in the NCAC in scoring at 33.8 points per game … Running back Danny Robinson is a dangerous threat as he comes in averaging 117 yards per game (2nd in the NCAC) and has scored seven rushing touchdowns … Quarterback Randy Tucker throws for 204 yards per game and has tossed 16 TDs … Defensively is where Hiram has had their struggles, ranking last in the NCAC in total defense (496.2 ypg) and scoring defense (49.5 ppg) … Ironically, the Terriers do have the league's best red zone defense as opponents have cashed in points just 33 times on 49 tries from inside the 20-yard line for 67.8 percent clip.

2-0 x 2 …
The Yeomen are essentially playing a two-game season with remaining home games against Hiram and Allegheny … Oberlin started the season by winning its first two games of the season over Kalamazoo (24-6) and Kenyon (31-10) … A pair of wins to end the campaign would give Oberlin its first 4-6 finish since 2012.

Looking at Lesh …
Sophomore place kicker Michael Leshchyshyn has had a strong season for the Yeomen as he has converted on all six of his field goal tries, while making 19-of-20 point after attempts … In just 18 career games, the Seattle, Washington, native has 13 made field goals, which is fourth most of any Yeomen kicker in school history … He is just one made kick shy of third place and Mike Tomlinson, who made 14 field goals between 2003-06.

To Get to #2 …
Senior Bennett Jackson enters the final two games of his Oberlin career with 274 tackles … Jackson, who is averaging eight tackles per game this season will need to register 18 stops over the final two weeks to match Vance Murphy (2002-05) for second all-time in school history with 292 career tackles.

Breaking into the Record Book? …
Oberlin's offense has totaled 2,697 yards through eight games for an average of 337.1 yards per game … With two games left to play, Oberlin needs just 586 total yards to move into fifth on the school's all-time list for yards in a season at 3,283, which it did in 2005 … If the Yeomen match their season average over the final two games and total 674 yards, that would give them 3,371 for the year and place the 2017 team fourth all-time.

Home Cookin' …
Since opening in 2014, the Yeomen have registered four wins at the Austin E. Knowlton Athletics Complex with two of those coming this season … A pair of victories to finish off the year would give the Yeomen four wins at home this season, marking the most wins in town since 2007 when they went 4-1 at Savage Stadium.

Seeing Sacks …
The Yeomen defense has registered 15 sacks this season, which is the sixth highest total in the NCAC … Saturday will be a prime opportunity for the Yeomen to add to that total as the Terriers have allowed an NCAC-high 35 sacks on the year.

Hard Hitters …
Oberlin's defense has forced nine fumbles this season, including one in each of the last three games … Unfortunately, the Yeomen have only been able to recover three loose balls on the nine occasions … As a team, the Yeomen have seven takeaways with four interceptions and three fumble recoveries.
