Yeomen Drop Road Match at Wabash

Crawfordsville, IN – One goal was all that was needed as the Wabash College Little Giants held off the visiting Oberlin College Yeomen 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
 
With the victory the Little Giants remained unbeaten on the season, running their record to 9-0-2 overall and 2-0 in the NCAC. The Yeomen dropped to 4-5 and 1-1 in league play.
 
The game's lone goal came in the 21st minute when Riley Pelton finished a pass from Zach Woloshin.
 
John Ingham led the Yeomen with five shots, two of which were on goal.
 
The Little Giants finished with a 17-10 edge in total shots, including a 9-5 margin in shots on goal.
 
Senior goalie Oidie Kuijpers did his part to keep the Yeomen close as he made eight saves in the game.
 
Oberlin returns to action on Wednesday night when local rival Case Western Reserve comes to town for a 7 p.m. tilt.
