Men's and Women's Track and Field Results
Findlay, Ohio- The Oberlin College men's and women's track and field teams earned a number of top-ten finishes in the second day of the Findlay Classic on Saturday.
The Yeowomen were led by junior
Molly Martorella who won the one-mile with a time of 5:06.35. Martorella also finished second in the 800-meter run, crossing at 2:23.88. Securing another top-five spot in distance, senior
Piper Nash took second in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:42.17.
Senior
Jasmine Owens placed seventh in the long jump with a jump of 16-07.25. She also took sixth in the triple jump, finishing with a distance of 31-08.00.
On the men's side, sophomore
Jerry Choi took 14th in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line at 23.72. Choi also finished 13th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.01.
Freshman Robert Morton took 15th in the one-mile run with a time of 4:34.14, while two Yeomen placed in the top-ten of the 3000-meter run. Freshman

Daniel Johnson took sixth and ninth with times of 9:09.55 and 9:16.44, respectively.
Senior
Matt Bernstein rounded out the group of Yeomen top-ten finishers in distance event with his sixth-place finish in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:54.75.
In field events, freshman Nate Danko took eighth in the pole vault after clearing a height of 13-07.25. Sophomore
Evan Finch finished in seventh place in the high jump, with a height of 5-11.05, while senior
Alex Guo took ninth in the long jump with a distance of 20-3.50 and seventh in the triple jump at 43-2.50.
The Oberlin men's and women's track and field team will continue their season on February 1 when they compete in the Findlay University Open.
