Oberlin, OH - The track teams went head to head against conference foe Wooster in a dual meet this evening. Both the men's and women's teams posted numerous wins throughout the meet.
The Yeowmen had three athletes win individual events this evening.
Gillian Winbourn sprinted to a first-place finish in 200-meter dash (29.02) and teammate
Alice Lubeck won the 1500-meter run (5:26.45).
Christine Moore was the only Oberlin athlete in thw women's 3000-meter run. She won the event with a time of 10:53.93 and was able to defeat 8 Wooster runners in the process.
Terrence Embry was a double event winner for the Yeomen. Embry won the 100-meter dash (11.90) and 400-meter hurdles (1:02.92).
Michael Everdell won the 200-meter dash 27.47.
Will Hoover also was a double event winner. Hoover won the 800-meter run (2:06.97) and 1500-meter run (4:22.90).
Vlad Bursac won three events at the meet. He won 110-meter hurdles (20.17), long jump (5.61 meters) and the javelin throw (23.46 meters).
Adam Wigren won both the shot put (12.98 meters) and the hammer throw (38.70 meters).
Josh Gallagher helped complete the sweep in the field events with when he won the discus throw (46.01 meters).
The team returns to action tomorrow at the All Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.
