Sophomore Vera Hutchison swam her way to two individual victories and helped two relay teams earn a first and second place finish this past Saturday at Ohio Wesleyan.

Hutchison helped guide the Yeowomen to 787 points and a trouncing of Ohio Wesleyan and Norte Dame College (OH) in Delaware, OH.

The quartet of Lauren Wong, Deirdre Haren, Hutchison and Samma Regan finished ahead of the field with a time of 1:54.34 in the women's 400-yard medley relay.

Hutchison went on to beat the field in the women's 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.53. In her second individual, the women's 100-yard backstroke, Hutchison touched the wall at 1:02.44 to best the field.

Hutchison finished the day by joining the threesome of Caroline Lasce, Marissa Buckley, and Hannah Pieper to stop the clock at 8:19.28 for a second place finish in the women's 800-yard freestyle relay.
