Joshua Friedkin was simply sensational for the Yeomen this past week, scoring over 20 points in each game for Oberlin College. The Junior started off with a season-high 26 points, hitting six 3-pointers along the way to accompany his six assists and five steals in a close 80-70 loss to DePauw. The Emeryville, California, native followed with 21 points and four assists in a 61-60 win over Denison with his last of five threes in the game giving the Yeomen a 60-57 lead with 1:39 left to play. For the week he shot 11-of-19 from distance (57.9%) and 17-of-31 (54.8) overall, and registered 10 assists and six steals along the way.
