Sara Schoenhoft, will enter her sixth season as the head coach of the Yeowomen softball team in 2021. She has led her squad to 40 wins over the previous four seasons (2016-19) after the team combined for just eight victories in the previous two years.
The 2017 Yeowomen recorded the second-best record in program history while setting then team records in batting average (.306), runs (183), stolen bases (39) and walks (81).
During her tenure, Schoenhoft has drastically increased the team's roster size and competitive level. In 2019 she mentored three All-NCAC selections including all-region honoree Cat Moruzzi.
In 2016 Coach Schoenhoft etched her first win at Oberlin against Grinnell College (3/25) and her first career-league victory as an NCAC head coach against Allegheny (4/20).

-Â Began her collegiate coaching career in 2010 as assistant at Amherst College (MA)

- Was the head coach at NCAA Division III Emory and Henry College for two seasons (2012-13), and helped place two players on the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference team, one on the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District V Team, and one on the NFCA All-Atlantic Region Team
-Â Earned a master's degree in exercise and sports studies from Smith College (MA) and holds certification with the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), Alliance of Women Coaches, and a graduate of the Women's Coaches Academy.Â
- Graduated from Kenyon College in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and she was a four-year member of the Ladies softball team
- Â Still ranks in the top 10 in multiple statistical categories at Kenyon, including home runs (12/fourth), doubles (30/eighth) and runs batted in (70/sixth)
